Accounts Executive
Accounting transactions, inventory records, stock reconciliation and disciplined ERP entries
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised Accounts & Inventory Executive to manage accounting transactions, inventory records, stock reconciliation and ERP entries. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, inventory management skills, and experience working with ERP systems to ensure accurate financial records and stock control.
Key Responsibilities — Accounts
- Record day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments and journal entries.
- Prepare and post accounting vouchers in the ERP system.
- Generate sales invoices, purchase entries, credit notes and debit notes.
- Reconcile bank accounts, customer accounts, vendor accounts and ledger balances.
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Assist in GST, TDS and other statutory compliance activities.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, cash flow reports and financial statements.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors and customers as required.
Key Responsibilities — Inventory
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system.
- Record inward and outward stock transactions.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Perform regular physical stock verification and inventory reconciliation.
- Investigate and report stock shortages, excesses or discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Sales and Dispatch departments to ensure smooth inventory movement.
- Track batch-wise and warehouse-wise inventory, where applicable.
- Maintain inventory valuation reports and stock ageing reports.
- Ensure proper documentation for material receipts, transfers and dispatches.
ERP & Reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate ERP entries for all financial and inventory transactions.
- Generate inventory, sales, purchase and financial reports for management.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting and inventory records.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and inventory management.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS and basic taxation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software.
- Strong analytical, numerical and reconciliation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
- Diploma or certification in Inventory Management or ERP is an added advantage.
Experience
- 0 – 1 years of experience in Accounts, Inventory Management or a similar role. Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Experience in a manufacturing, FMCG or distribution environment is preferred.
